Who is Yulia Izmalkova?

EPISODE 1: ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF SICK CHILDREN THROUGH THE USE OF STEM CELLS.

An interview with Anna Tyminska, mother of Wojtek, a boy suffering from a rare and incurable disease - Krabbe globoid leukodystrophy. The interview shows the positive changes observed in Wojtek after receiving stem cell therapy from the umbilical cord. Thanks to this therapy, Wojtek began to swallow, became less spastic, and was even able to go to kindergarten. EPISODE 2: APPLICATION OF STEM CELLS IN HEMATO-ONCOLOGIC DISEASES.

An interview with a prominent specialist, Professor Wojciech Mlynarski, MD, head of the Department of Pediatrics, Oncology, Hematology and Diabetology at the Medical University of Lodz. In the interview, Professor Mlynarski explains the tremendous therapeutic potential of cord blood stem cells in the treatment of young patients suffering from hemato-oncological diseases. An exclusive interview with Beata Krajewska-Mroz and Jaroslaw Mroz, Parents of little Ada, who is struggling with cerebral palsy. In an interview with Julia, the Parents tell us that the first sign that caused them concern was their daughter's lack of grip with her right hand. With determination and love, they made the difficult decision to have a stem cell transplant from Ada's umbilical cord blood, which was done when the girl was just 2 years old. Thanks to this therapy, Ada managed to make amazing progress - she began to independently grasp and lift objects with her right hand. In our interview, Beata and Jaroslaw share their story and describe the difficult path they had to go through before their child was diagnosed. EPISODE 5: TO BANK CORD BLOOD OR NOT? WHICH IS THE RIGHT CHOICE?

An interview with doctor Tomasz Baran, vice president of the Polish Stem Cell Bank. In this interview, we will get an answer to the question of why both Parents who decide to bank cord blood and those who do not, make the right decision. Mr. Tomasz Baran discusses the possibilities of stem cell applications, while showing their limitations and explaining why they are not - and will never be - a cure for all diseases. He also conveys the important idea of awareness and the right to choose, stressing that the decision to bank cord blood is a personal one that should be made on the basis of sound knowledge and weighing all the pros and cons.
