Evening primrose oil has many properties. Most of this is due to the polyunsaturated fatty acids OMEGA- 6 or DHA contained in its composition. As a result, it is used to help the appearance of the skin, hair or nails. It is also considered to relieve the discomfort of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Many women use it for problems with dry skin or vaginal dryness. There are no conclusive scientific studies on which to list the properties of evening primrose oil, but it has been around for years among natural dietary elements and has many supporters.

Evening primrose oil-can it be taken during pregnancy?

The issue of any supplements during pregnancy is still controversial. Mostly, however, specialists agree that the use of home methods in reasonable amounts in uncomplicated pregnancies is not harmful. Many moms-to-be use evening primrose oil to improve skin hydration. Some couples use evening primrose oil to increase their chances of getting pregnant. Indeed, there is a prevailing opinion related to assisting conception with the oil’s properties. This is not scientifically proven, but there is no contraindication to using this method during (and before) ovulation.
